Expertise & Industries

Azteron is not industry-specific — we are complexity-specific. We work across domains where the system architecture is the differentiator, not domain knowledge alone.

FinTech, Crypto & Blockchain

Systems where correctness, throughput, and decentralization are all mandatory.

Financial systems operate under a constraint set that most software does not: transactions must be atomic and auditable, latency must be predictable under load, and failure must never result in data inconsistency. These requirements eliminate a significant fraction of common architectural patterns.

We have built payment processing pipelines handling millions of transactions per second, crypto exchange backends requiring sub-millisecond order matching, and regulatory reporting systems operating under strict audit trail requirements. On the blockchain side, we design and implement smart contract architectures, on-chain/off-chain data bridging, wallet integration layers, and indexing infrastructure for DeFi and NFT platforms.

Whether the system is centralized, decentralized, or a hybrid, the engineering concerns are the same: state consistency, throughput under load, and failure isolation. We bring the same discipline to both.

E-Commerce & Marketplaces

Scale events, inventory coherence, and real-time pricing under load.

E-commerce platforms face a specific class of engineering problem: traffic is highly uneven, data is shared across many concurrent writers, and the cost of a pricing or inventory error is visible immediately to end users. Systems that work at baseline traffic fail at 10× load because they were not designed for it.

We architect e-commerce backends with explicit read/write separation, event-driven inventory management, distributed cache invalidation strategies, and autoscaling infrastructure that responds to actual load curves — not capacity estimates made in planning sessions. Real-time features — live stock levels, dynamic pricing, instant cart updates — are implemented over WebSocket connections designed for concurrency, not demos.

Marketplace systems add the complexity of multi-tenancy, seller/buyer data isolation, commission calculation at transaction time, and fraud signal aggregation across domains. These are systems engineering problems, and we approach them as such.

SaaS Platforms

Multi-tenant architecture that scales without ballooning infrastructure cost.

SaaS platforms require multi-tenancy designed into the architecture from the start — not retrofitted after the first enterprise customer asks for data isolation. The choice between shared-schema, shared-database, or separate-database multi-tenancy has implications that propagate through every layer of the system.

Beyond tenancy, SaaS platforms face continuous pressure on feature velocity versus system stability. We design service boundaries that allow product teams to iterate in their domains without coupling to other teams' release cycles.

We have worked with SaaS companies across their scaling journey — from initial architecture design through multi-region deployment and SOC 2 compliance readiness.

Enterprise Digital Systems

Modernizing legacy systems without disrupting active operations.

Enterprise digital transformation is frequently a migration problem: existing systems have years of business logic embedded in them, running processes that cannot be interrupted, serving users who depend on them daily. The engineering challenge is not to replace — it is to progressively modernize while keeping the lights on.

We design migration paths that extract business capability into independently deployable services, establish API contracts between old and new system components, and create the observability infrastructure needed to validate that the new system matches the behavior of the old before cutover.

We work with enterprise engineering teams who need external depth in cloud-native architecture and distributed systems — either to execute a specific migration, to establish platform standards, or to build the technical foundation for a product that is growing faster than the current architecture can support.

AI-Powered Products

Generative AI and intelligent systems built for production, not prototypes.

We design and build AI-powered products end-to-end: from the data pipelines and embedding infrastructure that ground the system in real knowledge, through the LLM integration layer, to the user-facing API that must perform reliably under concurrent load.

Our AI engineering work covers RAG architectures, fine-tuned model serving, prompt management systems, AI agent orchestration, and multi-modal pipelines. We have built AI-powered search, document intelligence, code generation assistants, and customer-facing conversational systems for B2B SaaS and enterprise clients.

Every AI system we ship includes production-grade observability: per-query latency, token cost tracking, retrieval quality metrics, and evaluation pipelines. AI that cannot be measured cannot be improved.

Real-Time Systems & WebSocket

Low-latency bidirectional communication at scale.

Real-time features — live feeds, collaborative editing, instant notifications, order book updates, chat, multiplayer state sync — require a fundamentally different backend architecture than standard request-response APIs. WebSocket connections are stateful and long-lived; the infrastructure must be designed to handle tens of thousands of concurrent connections without degrading latency.

We design WebSocket backends with horizontal scalability at the connection layer, pub/sub message brokering via Redis or Kafka, connection state management, graceful reconnection handling, and presence tracking. For systems requiring ultra-low latency, we implement server-sent events (SSE) and fine-tune TCP stack parameters to minimize jitter.

Applications span crypto trading terminals, collaborative SaaS tools, live logistics tracking, sports data feeds, and multiplayer product experiences. The engineering challenge in all of them is the same: reliable, ordered, low-latency message delivery under variable load.

Your domain. Our engineering depth.

If your system has complexity that generic software teams struggle to manage, we should talk. The conversation starts with your architecture.
